Cryo Rolling - What's it all about?
We know that facial rolling has become super popular over the last couple of months, what with the weather now getting colder – it gives us even more reason to take care of our skin. That’s why Brushworks brings you the latest tool in beauty with its recent launch of a cooling facial Cryo Roller! Here’s the low down on the new beauty tool, the benefits and how to use it:
What Are The Benefits?
- The roller helps to boost collagen in the skin, the coldness helps to disrupt collagen layers, which then helps to initiate the production of brand-new collagen. Overall, this helps to improve elasticity, firmness, suppleness and also provides an instant glow.
- Our Cyro roller helps to detox skin but aiding lymphatic drainage – ensuring there is no build up of fluids which can then stagnate and lead to clogged pores and breakouts.
- The cool touch helps to instantly depuff skin and decreases the appearance of pores whilst also tightening skin – creating a naturally sculpted appearance from the comfort of your own home!
- Due to the cold metal, this helps the skin to absorb further skincare such as serums and moisturiser better. Makeup will also sit better and look smoother due to pores being smaller.

The roller can also help with targeting pain such as headaches or muscle tension – especially when it is stored in the fridge for an extra-cooling effect.
How To Use:
- Store your roller in the fridge/freezer on a clean surface for a cold blast to the skin when using (if you store in the freezer allow around 5 minutes before using)
- On clean skin apply your favourite serum
- Take the roller up and down, then left to right on your cheeks, jawline and around your eyes. Work towards the ears, neck and chest area
- Use the smaller end of the roller around delicate areas of the face such as around the eyes and over the sides of the nose
- The wider end of the roller can be used on temples, back of the neck and shoulders to help relieve any tension
- Use the roller for around 5-10 minutes each time
- When you are finished with the roller, simply clean with warm water and gentle soap and leave to air dry
How to look after your Cryo Roller:
Always clean your roller after every use, simply rinse with water and cleanser so it is fully cleaned. After cleaning leave out to air dry or alternatively dry off with a soft towel.
Top Tip: Store your roller in the fridge before use for the ultimate cooling effect!
